This option is found under the insert menu ribbon
Just click the picture option from insert menu and then select the image and then click on insert option found in dialogue box.
After inserting the image we may use the white dots on either sides of the image to resize the image
And the green dot is used to rotate the image.
Now we can change the image settings by using different tools found under tab
The corrections tool is used to change the brightness and contrast of a picture. To do this click
on the corrections button and then select a contrast & brightness you want to select.
The color tool is used to change the colors of a picture. To do so just click on color tool and
then choose a color setting from the list.
The Artistic effects tool is used to select different artistic tools. To do so just click on
artistic effects tool and then select an artistic effect.
The decrease the memory size of a picture use compress picture tool. This option reduces the
size of the picture such that it consumes less space in a memory device.
To change the picture at any time click change picture option.
To reset the picture settings that you have just changed click on reset picture and
the picture will be automatically adjusted to its original.
To select a picture / border style select a style from picture styles.
To change border color, style and weight click on picture border option and select the
desired border color, style and weight.
To apply a picture effect i.e. 3d or shadow effect on a picture click on picture effect and then
select an effect.
The picture layout option is used to apply a smart art on a picture. just click on picture and
select a desired smart art.
This position option is used to place an image at a certain position like left, center & right.
The wrap text option is very useful in MS Word 2010. This is used to set an image according to text
like placing image behind text or in front of text or in between text. just click on wrap text and select a

The bring forward option is used to shift a picture in front of other picture.
The send backward option is used to shift an image to backside of a picture.
To rotate a picture to a certain angle click rotate option and then select the rotation angle.
Use crop tool to cut some area of a picture from any side. just click on crop tool and then use crop
points to crop from any side of the image.
